About Me
Hi, I'm Rael Blumenthal. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
This site is an attempt to organize and collect some of my thoughts, drashos, articles and ideas.
Truthfully, I'm nervous to publish anything. The written word cannot convey the warmth, empathy and emotion of a conversation. Everything here is an attempt to connect our minds, hearts and souls to the Ribono Shel Olam, to His Torah and to Klal Yisrael. I hope I am successful, and that if I'm not, you'll be kind about it ๐, and let me know.
I have the honor of being husband of my incredible wife Aliza, and Abba to four wonderful children. I also have the privilege of serving as the Rabbi of Boca Raton Synagogue West, where we have seen our community grow from a humble Shabbos minyan to a community of 140 member families in the past six years.
In addition to serving as Rabbi of BRS West, I'm a Rebbe at Katz Yeshiva High School.
Current interests included mastering the Daf, deepening my understanding of Halacha, Machshava and Chassidus. I've also recently lost a bunch of weight, and run some marathons.
Feel free to follow me on Youtube and Facebook. For the runners out there, I'm on Strava as well.
